Our challenge at Hothouse Studio was to create a bold, exciting and unifying visual identity, website and voice for the Climate Justice Coalition – a brand new organisation on a mission to unite the climate movement and broader society around a shared vision for climate justice and the end of fossil fuels.
The Climate Justice Coalition was dreamed up by 350.org Australia, Tipping Point, Australian Youth Climate Coalition, Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network, Pacific Climate Warriors and Our Islands Our Home, organisations with a track record of building social movements to win campaigns. The brand needed to capture attention, hearts and minds, ard be grounded in people power.
Hothouse Studio worked with 350.org Australia and an advisory group of coalition member leaders to determine the new brand’s purpose, identity and message. Drawing from our experience in campaigning, marketing and design we created the Climate Justice Coalition’s visual identity, personality and distinct offering in the existing climate movement.
“The Climate Justice Coalition identity and website build has been a really lovely and meaningful project for the Hothouse Studio team to work on as our first official pitched for, won, and produced project” commented Matt Bray. “A big thanks to our client Kelly Albion from 350.org and the coalition partners for putting their trust in our humble little team to deliver the goods. And we’re pretty stoked with the work we’ve produced.”

Kelly Albion, Director of 350.org Australia wrote: “The HotHouse Studio team were a joy to collaborate with on the development of the Climate Justice Coalition brand and web development. They created ambitious timelines, delivered creative and rigorous concepts and were open to feedback and co-design at every stage. We will definitely work with them again and would recommend them for your world-changing creative needs.”
